The Valencia Court sentenced a 25-year-old young man to five years and nine months in prison for abuse and kidnapping of his underage girlfriend. The man, who was a habitual abuser, acknowledged the facts for which he was convicted.
The facts occurred in Manises, at a residence in the town. The victim was a 15-year-old girl whom the defendant met through the internet. The young man maintained an abusive relationship with the minor, subjecting her to continuous abuse and keeping her kidnapped in the home.
The defendant himself publicly acknowledged the acts he committed against his girlfriend. The court confirmed that the abuse was habitual and not isolated incidents, which aggravated the sentence applied to the defendant.
