The socialist leader, referred to as Carneiro, is conditioning the analysis of the State Budget proposal by PS on the prior resolution of other political issues.
Carneiro considers it important that the Government give answers to matters of interest for people's lives before the Socialist Party evaluates the Budget proposal.
The party is thus awaiting the Executive's positioning on these other political matters before engaging in the budget discussion. This position of PS suggests a negotiation strategy ahead of the Budget discussions.
