The Ministry of Health published this Monday an order on competitions for positions at the top of the medical career, in which general and family medicine appears as the area with the most vacancies available.

According to the order, these competitions will contribute to increasing the number of health professionals in the National Health Service.

General and family medicine thus leads the number of vacancies opened for top medical career competitions, representing the area with the greatest need for filling positions.

The order from the Ministry of Health aims to strengthen the medical staff, particularly in the area of general and family medicine, which continues to be the most affected by the lack of professionals in the health system.
