Miguel Albuquerque reaffirmed today his confidence in Luís Neves, during a lunch at Quinta Vigia. The president of the Regional Government expressed support for the Minister of Internal Administration, who is the target of a Motion of Censure threat by the Chega party.
Albuquerque considered that the current political situation should be framed within the normal dynamics of democracy, minimising the political tension surrounding the minister.
The president of the Regional Government also defended that the Republic's Government should communicate better what it is doing, suggesting a need for greater transparency in government communication.
Albuquerque highlighted, in this context, the reduced levels of unemployment, referring to the positive impact of government policies on the economy.
