The municipality of Resende receives on September 26 the Blessing 26, a solidarity event aimed at all types of motorcycles that aims to raise support for reforestation and maintenance of trees planted at Penedo de São João.
The initiative includes a special tribute to the Firefighters, who are the godparents of this edition, as a form of recognition for the work carried out by these professionals and volunteers.
The program begins with the reception of participants in the village center of Resende, followed at 10:30 AM by the departure of the motard caravan for a ride through the municipality. The blessing ceremony of the motorcycles is scheduled for 12:30 PM at Penedo de São João, a location that will host one of the main actions of the initiative.
Blessing 26 is organized by &Trindade.pt & Friends, in collaboration with the Municipality of Resende, parish councils and other local entities, with the participation of the Association for the Enhancement and Rural Development of Vale do Cabrum (AVDRVC), within the scope of the "Planting the Future" initiative.
