Artur Nogueira took office as the new commander of the Flavienses Volunteer Fire Brigade, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the association. The appointment was announced through a social media post by the Humanitary Association of the Flavienses Volunteer Firefighters.
Artur Nogueira began his career in the Flavienses corps in 2004 and, over more than two decades of effective service, progressed through the different categories of the firefighter career until reaching the rank of Deputy Chief. The association highlighted his career as marked by merit, discipline, sense of mission and competence.
Since 2015 until his appointment as commander, Artur Nogueira served as second commander, a position in which he consolidated experience in command, operational planning and cohesion of the fire brigade. His professionalism, leadership aptitude and commitment were recognized as determining factors for this appointment.
At the moment of the passing of the torch, the humanitary association expressed a fair and deserved recognition and deep gratitude to the commander of honor, José Lima, for the service, dedication and contribution given throughout his tenure at the head of the fire brigade.
