After an attack by the United States against Iran in the Strait of Hormuz and an Iranian response with bombing of American bases in Jordan, the president of the USA, Donald Trump, defended that the leaders of Iran be tried for "crimes against humanity." The statement was made this Monday (31st) in a post on social media platform Truth Social.

According to the Republican, the trial would be for the death of demonstrators, which would be more than 100,000 so far, without presenting an official source. Trump also called Iran a "failed nation," stating that the country "is dead" and that it faces economic problems and has no army to continue the war.

The Republican completed by saying that the Iranian leadership is in "complete disarray" and "unable to adequately represent the country." In an interview with Fox News, Trump promised a response to the Iranian attacks on American bases in Jordan.
