The Portuguese Navy has begun in Setúbal the world's largest robotics and drone exercise, called REPMUS, which will run until September 25. The event represents one of the world's largest initiatives in the area of naval robotics and drone technology.
The exercise features the participation of more than 15,000 participants, from various international organizations. Among the participants are 36 navies from different countries, more than 60 research and development companies, 13 universities, and five NATO entities.
This event positions Portugal as an important hub in the development and testing of advanced naval technologies, bringing together specialists and institutions from around the world for collaboration and innovation in the area of marine robotics.
