The negotiation between Luiz Henrique and Roma is not moving forward. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, despite a verbal agreement since Sunday night, the Italian club has started prioritizing other names on the market, such as Jamie Leweling from Stuttgart, Germany.
Roma opened talks with Zenit and offered 30 million euros, approximately R$180 million at the current exchange rate. The initial amount pleased the Russian team and talks progressed between the clubs.
Luiz Henrique was also coveted by Botafogo and Flamengo this transfer window, showing the interest of other Brazilian clubs in the player.
At this moment, Roma appears to be recalculating the route before concluding the deal, which puts the player's near future in doubt.
