"No Jardim" closes edition with sunset music

The closing session of No Jardim took place at sunset, featuring performances by NATIVA and 2A Live DJ Set. The event was attended by the Vice-President of the Setúbal Municipal Council, Maria do Carmo Tiago, and by councilor Bruno Russo, bringing together an audience of all ages for an afternoon dedicated to music and socializing.

Throughout August, No Jardim visited Praia da Saúde, Parque do Bonfim and Jardim de Vanicelos. The programming focused on concerts by local artists and entertainment moments for children.

The first edition of the initiative took place over five Saturdays, proposing the use of the city's gardens and green spaces as meeting points for cultural and leisure activities.

No Jardim was promoted by the Associação Cultural Margem Viva, with the support of the Setúbal Municipal Council and the União das Freguesias de Setúbal, and with the sponsorship of Casa Ermelinda Freitas.

Rapper Major RD, from Vilar Carioca in Inhoaíba, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, will make his first solo presentation at the Rock in Rio's Favela Space, closing the space's activities on Saturday, the 5th. This will be his fourth participation in the festival, having previously been the second voice of Xamã and performed solo on the Supernova stage. The artist reports that he grew up watching the biggest names in rock, rap, and pop on the festival on television, since his father was a rock fan, and never imagined being on the festival's stages. For him, occupying the Favela Space represents an immense personal fulfillment and a great responsibility, especially for serving as an example for children in the community where he grew up.
