A 36-year-old man jumped a fence and invaded the runway at Lisbon Airport. The individual was intercepted by airport workers, who prevented him from continuing.
After being intercepted, the man was handed over to the PSP, the Public Security Police, who took charge of the situation on site.
The man was subsequently assisted by INEM, the National Institute of Medical Emergencies, due to his state of health.
He was then referred to a hospital, where he remained under medical evaluation.
