The institutional portal of the Municipality of Bragança received the highest level "Gold" distinction of the Usability and Accessibility Seal, awarded by the Agency for State Technological Reform (ARTE, I.P.). This certification recognizes the work developed in improving the accessibility, organization and use of the content and services made available through the municipal website.
The evaluation took into account different aspects, from the way information is presented to the ease of use of digital functionalities, including tests carried out with users with disabilities. The distinction aims to recognize a platform that seeks to guarantee more autonomous access to information and municipal services by citizens with different needs and capabilities.
The Municipality of Bragança framed this recognition within the "Bragança Inovadora" strategy, which focuses on the use of technology to bring public services closer to the population and reduce obstacles in access to information. The municipality considered that digital accessibility should accompany the transformation of public services, ensuring that municipal technological tools can be used by as many citizens as possible.
