West Ham United, the club coached by Nuno Espírito Santo, announced the signing of Edvin Austbo, a young prospect of Norwegian football. The Norway U-21 international winger leaves Viking, his home club, and signs a four-season contract with the English club, with an additional optional season.

The signing represents an investment in Nordic youth development by West Ham, who are looking to strengthen their attack with young talent. Austbo arrives in London after establishing himself as one of the most interesting prospects in Norwegian football during his time at Viking.

The 19-year-old (U-21) young player has already represented the Norwegian national team at youth levels, accumulating international experience before making the jump to English football. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the club.
