The Climatempo forecast indicates that the first days of Rock in Rio 2026 should be marked by rain, unlike the festival's usual pattern, which normally occurs with heat and, at most, slightly cooler weather. The weather in Rio de Janeiro should be colder this week, and starting Friday (4), the meteorological situation will become more unstable.
According to the forecast, on Friday, the first day of the festival, the weather will be warmer in the morning and afternoon, but with rain during the night. The same pattern should repeat on Saturday (5), maintaining the possibility of nighttime precipitation.
Sunday (6) also presents chances of rain, with much colder temperatures, with the high possibly reaching 19º. This scenario represents a significant change compared to previous editions of the event.
The festival organization announced that rain ponchos will be allowed entry this year, but not umbrellas. This way, the audience will have a way to protect themselves in case of drizzle or potential storms during the shows.
