Novobanco dos Açores reaffirmed its commitment to the economic development of the region, assuming a "prominent role" in the Participatory Capital Programs Açores I and II. These programs aim to support business capitalization in the archipelago.

The Participatory Capital Programs are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, which is a European financial instrument aimed at economic recovery after the pandemic.

Novobanco dos Açores positioning itself as a main participant in these programs demonstrates its direct involvement in financing and strengthening local Azorean companies.

With this action, the banking institution reinforces its contribution to boost the regional economy and promote the competitiveness of companies in the Azores.
