VISEU: Municipality marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of José de Azeredo Perdigão

The Municipality of Viseu will mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of José de Azeredo Perdigão with a commemorative program that will take place on September 11 and 12. This commemoration aims to pay tribute to this figure of cultural and historical relevance for the municipality.

Viriato Teatro Municipal will be the main stage for the initiatives, hosting a commemorative and tribute session to José de Azeredo Perdigão. The city's cultural venue will thus host the main activities of the program.

As part of the festivities, a new edition of the BEIRA conference cycle will be held, focused on the theme "The West, War and Peace." This event will bring to Viseu a set of speakers of recognized prestige, including Nicole Gnesotto, Bruno Cardoso dos Reis, Raquel Vaz Pinto and Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo.
