The Left Block accused the Santa Cruz City Council of having lost more than 60 million euros intended for housing. This is the party's main criticism of the municipality's actions in this area.
The Left Block members consider that the Municipal Housing Charter, which is currently under public consultation, does not constitute an adequate response to the main housing problems of the municipality. In other words, the party understands that the document, as it stands, does not resolve the housing difficulties faced by residents.
The Left Block's position emerges as a negative assessment of municipal management in housing matters, questioning both the loss of available funds and the effectiveness of the measures proposed by the Santa Cruz executive to address the housing crisis in the territory.
