Rock in Rio 2026: check out the 10 unmissable shows at this edition of the festival

Rock in Rio 2026 starts this Friday, the 4th, in an edition divided into two weekends: the first with four days of programming and the second with three. The festival features more than 100 extremely varied attractions, which promise unique shows for the audience present.

CBN selected a list with 10 shows considered unmissable for this edition of the festival. Some of them stand out for the importance of the confirmed bands or artists, while others catch attention for the originality and the unique side of their performances.

Among the mentioned attractions is the Swedish band The Hives, which performs on the 4th. The first day of the festival will also have Foo Fighters as the main attraction, in addition to other memorable performances on the Mundo stage.

Other confirmed bands highlighted in the programming include Rise Against and the duo Nova Twins, both with confirmed performances on the festival's Mundo stage, offering the audience different musical style options during the first part of the event.

Steffany Pereira, known as "Campanita," born in Foz do Iguaçu (PR) and holding both Brazilian and Paraguayan nationality, was expelled from the Argentine reality show "Gran Hermano: Generación Dorada" (the Argentine version of Big Brother) last Friday, after refusing to leave the house and requiring removal by the show's crew. She gained prominence on the show for her strong personality and for mixing Portuguese, Spanish, and Guarani when communicating, presenting herself on social media as "brasiguaia." Steffany lived in Brazil until age six, spent part of her childhood and adolescence in Paraguay, and later returned to Brazil to study Advertising. The expulsion occurred after a fight with another participant, Danelik Galazán, who was also expelled from the show.
