A motorcycle crash occurred on the EN255 road, which connects Portel to Reguengos de Monsaraz. The accident caused a serious injury that required air transport for medical assistance.
Due to the accident, the road had to be closed to traffic between the towns of Amieira and São Marcos do Campo. This closure forced drivers to use alternative routes during the emergency response period.
