The body of a woman was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition in her home in Eira Vedra, Vila Cova da Lixa. The victim was found in her house, presenting a high degree of bodily decomposition.
The authorities do not suspect it is a crime, indicating that death may have natural causes or other non-violent circumstances.
The Volunteer Firefighters of Lixa went to the scene with several men and vehicles to provide assistance at the location.
The GNR of Lixa was also present at the scene to carry out the necessary procedures.
