Taça de Portugal: Fazendense advances after beating Moçarriense

Associação Desportiva Fazendense beat Moçarriense 1-0 last Sunday, August 30, at Complexo Desportivo Professor José Sousa Gomes, in Fazendas de Almeirim, thus securing passage to the next round of the Taça de Portugal. The only goal of the match was scored by Torres Gomez.

The team is managed by coach Zé Miguel Dias and achieved this victory a week after making their debut in the Campeonato de Portugal with a draw. With this positive result in the Taça de Portugal, Fazendense will now face Ginásio Figueirense in the next round of the competition.

Ginásio Figueirense is a team from the municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo. The match against Moçarriense took place at Complexo Desportivo Professor José Sousa Gomes, in Fazendas de Almeirim.
