A man was arrested in Águeda on suspicion of sexually abusing his 10-year-old stepdaughter. The GNR was alerted and proceeded to arrest the suspect.
INEM was called to the GNR post to assess the child's health, who was allegedly a victim of sexual abuse by the stepfather.
The authorities are investigating the case, which involves a 10-year-old minor and an adult with a family relationship to the victim.
