Mucuia hat-trick secures youth victory in Montemor

Youth secured qualification for the 2nd round of the Portuguese Cup by defeating União de Montemor 1-4 at Estádio 1.º de Maio. The home team took the lead at 8 minutes with a goal from Tiago Varandas.

Youth equalized the match at 16 minutes, with Tiago Madeira converting a penalty. At 31 minutes, the visiting team was reduced to ten men due to the sending-off of Samir Banjai, with the 1-1 score remaining until halftime.

In the second half, Mucuia scored a hat-trick, contributing decisively to the 1-4 thrashing that allowed Youth to advance in the competition.
