Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro revealed the first images of himself from a federal prison in New York. The photographs were shared on the social media platform X.

In the images, Maduro appears smiling, wearing a tracksuit and making a hand gesture. The caption accompanying the posts includes the message: "I want you to know that we are standing firm".

These are the first publicly known images of Maduro since his transfer to the United States was confirmed, following his detention in Venezuela.
