The Government of the Azores approved three million euros in support for farmers in the region, in a decision made approximately one month after the initial announcement of these agricultural support measures.
The financial resources are intended to mitigate the increase in production factor costs, mainly covering fuel and fertilizer costs, which have significantly affected agricultural activity in the region.
This measure comes in the context of worsening economic conditions for Azorean farmers, who face growing pressures on the operational costs of their farms.
With this financial support, the regional executive intends to mitigate the effects of increased production costs in the Azorean agricultural sector, providing some financial relief to producers in the region.
