The Spanish government will approve on Tuesday an emergency package of 165 million euros for Ceuta. This amount is intended to revitalize the local economy and strengthen the public services of the city.

The measure comes after the mass entry of immigrants in Ceuta on July 30 and 31, which significantly affected the city.
Some of the immigrants who entered during that period are still in the city, justifying the need for this extraordinary support from the Spanish government.
