Father Filipe Vales will take office as parish priest of the parishes of Santo Tirso de Paramos and S. Tiago de Silvalde next weekend, September 5th and 6th. This will be the first parish to receive its new priest on Saturday, followed by Silvalde on Sunday.
In Paramos, the investiture ceremony takes place on Saturday at 5:00 PM at the Parish Church, with a concelebrated mass with Father Nuno Oliveira, followed by an evening snack shared with the community.
Father Nuno Oliveira, who is still the parish priest of Paramos, celebrated yesterday a Mass marked by emotion, which gathered the Catholic community of that parish. At the end, the pastoral groups gathered for a shared dinner.
On Sunday, it will be Silvalde's turn to welcome the new parish priest, with a procession starting at 4:45 PM from the parish hall to the Parish Church, followed by the welcoming mass at 5:00 PM and a reception.

Em Paramos, o padre Filipe Vales tomará posse no sábado [5 de setembro], às 17h00, na Igreja Paroquial com uma missa concelebrada com o padre Nuno Oliveira, seguida de um lanche ajantarado compartilhado.
Ontem o ainda pároco de Paramos, padre Nuno Oliveira, celebrou uma Eucaristia, marcada pela emoção, que reuniu a comunidade católica daquela freguesia e no final os movimentos pastorais reuniram-se num jantar partilhado.
No domingo será a vez de Silvalde, na Igreja Paroquial daquela vila, às 16h45 com uma procissão, com início no salão paroquial seguida da missa de acolhimento, às 17h00 e de um porto de honra.
