A dust devil was recorded this afternoon in the area of Seara Velha and Soutelo, in the municipality of Chaves. The meteorological phenomenon was captured on video and shows the column of dust spinning over the region's landscape.

The dust devil lifted ashes left by the fires that affected the area during the summer. The ashes, resulting from the forest fires that occurred during the hottest months, were again stirred up and suspended in the air by this phenomenon.
