It was lap 6 of the 23 that the Aragon Grand Prix MotoGP race had. Marc Márquez, Ducati rider, was chasing the full 37 points, as he needed that complete score to maintain any chance of renewing the title at the end of the World Championship.
In the first corner of the race, Márquez lost the opportunity to lead the race, something he had managed to do in Saturday's sprint. He explained that he forgot to deactivate the rear wheel suspension control and lost two additional corners, which prevented him from overtaking Marco Bezzecchi and Pedro Acosta.
The rider acknowledged that it was his mistake, saying "yes, we are human". Because of this error, he had to change his plans and take more risks later in the race to try to recover positions.
