20-year-old young man detained in Maia on suspicion of killing stepfather

A 20-year-old young man was detained by the Judicial Police on suspicion of having killed his 50-year-old stepfather during the early morning hours today.

The crime occurred at the residence where both lived, located in the parish of Vermoim, in the municipality of Maia, district of Porto.

Authorities stated that the suspect was arrested as part of this investigation into the homicide of the 50-year-old man.

The Judicial Police was the entity responsible for announcing the detention of the 20-year-old young man.
