Prime Minister Luís Montenegro announced the creation of a University of Bragança during the closing of the PSD Summer University. Montenegro took the opportunity to make a long defense of the Executive, emphasizing the "determination" of the Government in its political decisions.
The PSD leader refused to respond to the opposition's criticisms during his speech. He was equally unavailable to comment on the motion of censure presented by the Chega party, thus avoiding directly confronting the political forces that question the Government's performance.
