The coming week from 31 August to 6 September 2026 will bring the return of hot and dry weather in Portugal, after days of precipitation, according to IPMA. Maximum temperatures will range between 20 and 35°C at the beginning of the week, rising to 30 to 40°C from mid-week onwards, with the coastal areas maintaining more moderate values between 25 and 30°C. Minimums will fluctuate between 10 and 16°C, rising to 16 to 22°C, with tropical nights possible in southern Algarve, the southern region along the border with Spain, and the Lisbon region. Wind will be light to moderate, in a northerly regime on the west coast, predominantly from the east quadrant from mid-week onwards.

A próxima semana deverá trazer o regresso do tempo quente e seco, após vários dias marcados pela ocorrência de precipitação. Segundo o Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA), as condições meteorológicas irão estabilizar, com uma subida gradual da temperatura a meio da semana,

Temperaturas

A temperatura máxima deverá situar‑se entre 20 e 35°C no início da semana, evoluindo para valores entre 30 e 40°C a partir de meados da semana. Na faixa costeira, contudo, os valores deverão manter‑se mais moderados, entre 25 e 30°C. As temperaturas mais elevadas deverão ocorrer na região Sul.

A temperatura mínima deverá iniciar a semana com valores entre 10 e 16°C, registando uma subida para 16 a 22°C a meio da semana. Segundo as previsões, poderá verificar‑se a ocorrência de noites tropicais (mínimas acima de 20°C ) na costa sul do Algarve, na região Sul junto à fronteira com Espanha e também na região de Lisboa.

Vento

O vento irá por soprar fraco a moderado, sendo em regime de nortada na faixa costeira ocidental, predominando do quadrante leste a partir do meio da semana.
