The Municipal Council of Soure is going to invest 575 thousand euros in the cleaning and clearing of the Arunca river, after the damage caused by storm Kristin. The work aims to restore the normal water flow conditions in the region.
The works include clearing the riverbed and cleaning the banks, which were significantly affected by the passage of the storm. This intervention aims to reverse the impacts caused by the meteorological event.
In addition to cleaning, the local authority wants to reduce the risk of new floods in the area. The investment aims to prevent situations similar to those caused by storm Kristin, ensuring greater safety for the population and for local infrastructure.
