The Portuguese motorcycling community is in mourning for the death of José Valença, president of the Moto Clube de Coimbra, who passed away yesterday, January 19, from a sudden illness.
José Valença was a figure recognized for his dedication to motorcycling and motor tourism, having played a prominent role over the years in revitalizing the Moto Clube de Coimbra, contributing significantly to the development and promotion of these activities in the region.
The news of his death caused great distress among the club's members and the motorcycling community in general, who acknowledge his involvement and passion for the world of motorcycles.
The funeral ceremonies took place at the Church of São Bartolomeu, in Coimbra, bringing together family, friends and numerous members of the Moto Clube de Coimbra to pay their final tribute to José Valença.
