Regulation for stateless citizens enters into force in September

The regulation for stateless citizens enters into force in September. The final text of this law was based on the initial proposal by the Social Democratic Party, having been approved on July 3.

The proposal incorporated suggestions presented by PS, by the Livre party, and by Deputy Fabian Figueiredo from Left Bloc.

The law was approved with votes in favor from all Portuguese left-wing benches, also counting with the support of PSD and the Iniciativa Liberal party.
