A mother and daughter built a house using 8,000 abandoned bottles, after not having money to build a conventional dwelling. The initiative arose from the economic need of the two, who did not have financial resources to build a traditional house.
The construction, which received the name "Casa de Sal" (Salt House), was carried out progressively and artisanally over time. The method used allowed creating a complete dwelling with seven rooms, demonstrating a sustainable and creative alternative in the face of lack of financial means.
The choice of abandoned bottles as a building material represents not only an economic solution, but also an ecological approach to recycling and reusing materials. This project shows how imagination and perseverance can compensate for the lack of traditional economic resources in housing construction.
