The German company Stihl, founded in 1926 and known for having invented the gasoline chainsaw that same year, is now leading the energy transition in the outdoor power equipment sector. The company is determined to electrify its product range, moving away from the internal combustion engines that made it famous.
The Portuguese subsidiary of Stihl plays a prominent role in this strategy, being the fastest-growing branch in all of Western Europe. This leadership position in growth places the Portuguese operation in a privileged position to implement and demonstrate the new technologies of the parent company.
