Dutch authorities issued a red alert after identifying ecstasy tablets with the image of Donald Trump's face that contain a potentially fatal substance. The Dutch institute responsible for the alert warned the population not to consume these tablets, considering the extreme danger they represent for health.
The tablets in question contain a high concentration of PMMA (para-methoxymethamphetamine), a psychoactive substance belonging to the methamphetamine family. This drug presents serious risks for those who consume it, and can cause an overdose even with relatively small doses, in addition to causing excessive body overheating.
Dutch health authorities reiterated the warning to the population, emphasizing the importance of not trying these tablets. The alert comes in a context of growing concern about the circulation of adulterated illicit substances in the European market.
