Slovenian rider Tadej Pogacar suffered a serious crash during the Vuelta, which forced him to abandon the race. The accident occurred during a stage of the Spanish cycling competition.

After the accident, Pogacar was seen at the hospital, where a photograph of him was widely shared. In the image, the cyclist appears at the healthcare facility to the sound of the song "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.

The crash was considered serious enough to take the rider out of the competition. Pogacar, who is one of the big favorites in world cycling, was unable to continue the race after the incident.
