Daily crime in Portugal has been alarming Portuguese citizens, with special emphasis on the phenomenon of the internationalization of crime. Drug trafficking and all associated criminal activities have generated great concern among authorities and society.
The Judicial Police (PJ) currently has six inspectors dedicated to investigating the so-called "Rolex gangs", criminal organizations operating in this sector. This investigation demonstrates the effort of the authorities to combat these organized crime networks.
The Public Security Police (PSP) seeks to assign officers to reinforce the prevention of these crimes, recognizing that this criminal activity seriously harms the country. Combating these networks represents a priority for Portuguese security forces.
