The Portuguese group Area 51 revealed to the Portuguese news agency that it expects to reach a turnover of five million euros during the year 2026. This target represents an ambitious goal for the national technology sector company.

The group's chief executive officer (CEO) gave an interview to the agency, in which he detailed the company's expectations for the coming years. During the conversation, the growth plans and the defined strategy to achieve the projected results were discussed.

Internationalization appears as a strategic priority for the Area 51 group. The Portuguese company identifies the external market as fundamental for its sustainable development and to achieve the established billing objectives.

As part of its international expansion, the Middle East represents a key region for consolidating the group's presence. The company intends to strengthen its position in this market as a central part of its global growth strategy.

Social Security pays on average 786 euros to retired men, but women get 452 euros

According to official data from December 2024, the average old-age pension in Portugal was 786.17 euros for men and 452.09 euros for women under the general Social Security scheme, a difference of 334.08 euros monthly. This disparity, which persists across all age groups, reflects inequalities accumulated throughout working life, such as lower wages, shorter careers, and work interruptions, mainly among older generations. Among new pensions awarded in 2024, the difference was about 305 euros, lower than the overall average, which may indicate a positive evolution. Social Security itself explains that the calculation rules are identical for both sexes, but are based on individual contributory careers that differ, with the female statutory pension (270.10 euros) being less than half the male one (615.74 euros).

Bakery, pizzeria, bar, café, wine cellar: discover the complex about to open in a new gastronomic area at BarraShopping

Forno Paradiso, a 760-square-meter gastronomic complex, will open next Thursday next to Access G at BarraShopping, in Rio de Janeiro. The space brings together a bakery, pizzeria, confectionery, café, bar, trattoria, and a wine cellar with approximately 800 wine labels, all connected by a tile floor with Roman inspiration. The project was created by Fabio and Eduarda Dupin, father and daughter, who gathered references from trips to Italy and nearly a decade of experience in the sector to create what they define as a small Roman street, with a view of a grocery store with typically Italian products.
