Chinese President Xi Jinping had a scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kyrgyzstan, a country located in Central Asia. The meeting was planned to take place on Monday.

The two leaders met to discuss the Siberian Power-2 pipeline project. This pipeline plans to transport natural gas from Siberia, in Russia, to China.

The project is part of the energy cooperation between the two countries and represents a deepening of bilateral relations in the energy sector. The pipeline would allow China to obtain Russian gas supplies through a new route.

According to official data from December 2024, the average old-age pension in Portugal was 786.17 euros for men and 452.09 euros for women under the general Social Security scheme, a difference of 334.08 euros monthly. This disparity, which persists across all age groups, reflects inequalities accumulated throughout working life, such as lower wages, shorter careers, and work interruptions, mainly among older generations. Among new pensions awarded in 2024, the difference was about 305 euros, lower than the overall average, which may indicate a positive evolution. Social Security itself explains that the calculation rules are identical for both sexes, but are based on individual contributory careers that differ, with the female statutory pension (270.10 euros) being less than half the male one (615.74 euros).

Forno Paradiso, a 760-square-meter gastronomic complex, will open next Thursday next to Access G at BarraShopping, in Rio de Janeiro.
