The Maia Municipal Civil Protection Service issued an alert about the increased risk of rural fire in the coming days. The forecasted adverse meteorological conditions, with high temperatures and moderate to strong winds, create an environment conducive to the spread of fires in the region.
Civil Protection recommends responsible behavior to prevent incidents and protect local flora and fauna. Among the highlighted measures are the prohibition of extensive controlled burning and pile burning without municipal council authorization, as well as the restriction of the use of stoves and grills in rural areas.
The alert also includes prohibitions such as smoking or making any type of fire in forest areas, as well as the launching of lit sky lanterns and fireworks, which can only be used with express authorization from the Municipal Council. Practices such as fumigation of apiaries are also under restrictions, except if devices that do not produce sparks are used.
The SMPC Maia reiterates the need for constant vigilance and recommends that the population inform themselves through the ANEPC and IPMA websites, as well as through the Technical Forest Office of the Municipal Council and the Fire Brigades. The community is encouraged to act with prudence to contribute to the protection of the environment and the safety of everyone.
O Serviço Municipal de Proteção Civil da Maia emitiu um alerta acerca do aumento do risco de incêndio rural nos próximos dias devido às condições meteorológicas adversas previstas. Com temperaturas elevadas e ventos moderados a fortes, as condições se mostram propícias à propagação de incêndios.
A Proteção Civil enfatiza a importância de adotar comportamentos responsáveis para prevenir sinistros e proteger a flora e fauna da região. Entre as recomendações, destaca-se a proibição de queimadas extensivas e queimas de amontoados sem autorização das câmaras municipais. Além disso, o uso de fogareiros e grelhadores em áreas rurais deve ser restrito a locais autorizados e fora de zonas críticas.
O alerta também se estende a proibições como fumar ou fazer qualquer tipo de fogo em áreas florestais, bem como o lançamento de balões de mecha acesa e foguetes, que só podem ser utilizados com autorização expressa da Câmara Municipal. Práticas como a fumigação de apiários também estão sob restrições, exceto se forem utilizados dispositivos que contenham faíscas.
O SMPC Maia reitera a necessidade de manter uma vigilância constante em relação à evolução do perigo de incêndio, recomendando que a população se informe através dos sites da ANEPC e do IPMA, bem como com os serviços do Gabinete Técnico Florestal da Câmara e os Corpos de Bombeiros. A comunidade é incentivada a atuar com prudência, contribuindo para a proteção do meio ambiente e a segurança de todos.
