According to forecasts from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), seven districts in mainland Portugal will record high temperatures next week. The affected districts are Beja, Braga, Castelo Branco, Évora, Lisbon, Portalegre and Santarém.
These seven districts will record at least one day with maximum temperatures equal to or above 35 degrees. This is a heat wave that will affect several regions of the country.
