Strong storms recorded on Thursday, August 27, in the Besançon region in France caused significant damage in several localities in the area. The sectors of Marchaux, Baume-les-Dames and Pouligney-Lusans were among the areas particularly affected by the bad weather.

Traffic on the A36 motorway was affected by the storms, with several vehicles being damaged during the weather event. The hail caused material damage to vehicles traveling on the motorway.

The Besançon region was the main area affected by this episode of bad weather, which was felt with particular intensity during the day on Thursday.
