A joint operation between the GNR and the Spanish Guardia Civil resulted in the arrest of seven men and the seizure of more than five tons of hashish in the Guadiana River, on the border between Portugal and Spain.

The action involved land, sea and air means, demonstrating the complexity and scale of the inspection operation.

The authorities of the two countries coordinated efforts to carry out the seizure as part of the fight against drug trafficking in the border area.
