A new school will be built in Loures to serve 267 students. The new school facility will merge two schools that already existed in the area.
The schools that will be merged are Júlio Dinis Basic School and Fernando Pessoa Basic School. Both were in a state of degradation, according to the president of the Loures City Council.
The construction of this new school comes as a solution to replace the two establishments that had degradation problems. The mayor of Loures made this statement to justify the need for the new school facility.
