Traditional Madeira embroidery was featured in an exhibition dedicated to Portuguese culture held in Santos, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, between September 4th and 13th. The initiative was promoted by the Grupo Folclórico Cruz de Malta – Santos/SP, in partnership with Art Mundi – World Craft Fair. The event aimed to bring the Portuguese community of Baixada Santista closer to one of the largest craft fairs in Brazil and, at the same time, promote different manifestations of Portuguese culture.
