The "Cinto-me Vivo" campaign took place between 8 and 14 September, integrated into the National Enforcement Plan 2026, and inspected a total of 3,758,836 vehicles and drivers across the country. During this operation, 20,312 road infractions were detected.
The initiative was promoted by the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR), in collaboration with the GNR and PSP. The main focus of the campaign was on the correct use of seat belts, child restraint systems and helmets.
Of the 20,312 infractions detected, 619 were directly related to the non-use or incorrect use of the aforementioned safety devices. The article is incomplete, so other types of infractions recorded during the operation are not mentioned.
