Emílio Aragonez has died, one of the essential figures in the history of Rádio Altitude and local media in Guarda. He was 91 years old. He was affectionately called "Toninho" by colleagues and friends.
Emílio Aragonez was born in Portalegre on September 21, 1934, but came to Guarda when he was very young, a city he chose to live in and where he dedicated much of his life to radio.
Known as "Mr. News," Emílio Aragonez marked several generations of listeners of Rádio Altitude, becoming a reference in media communication in the Guarda region.
His death represents the loss of a personality who was part of the history of local radio, having left a lasting legacy in the way information was transmitted to listeners in the region.
